Surprisingly, the rooms were quite large. The king bed we had was not squeezed into the room. The remote for the TV was easy to work with. Breakfast was typical . The scrambled eggs actually looked & tasted like real eggs at breakfast. This room was nice and inexpensive. Thank-you for a bargain.

Traveling with a group of 27 for a youth mission trip. This place far exceeded our expectations. Our room keys were ready as soon as we arrived. They placed our entire group in the same hallway. They went above and beyond when they found out we ordered pizza delivery and gave us access to their conference room for us to enjoy our meal in. This is what hospitality is supposed to look like.

The breakfast was wonderful, and our stay included a weeknight so we were also offered dinner. The 24 hour coffee machines were awesome and made really good coffee!

room i stayed in was extremely clean and comfortable, the room service attendant was very polite and gave me extra towels and she was very polite and respectful. also the dinner was very good in the dining area. The Heartland is an amazing place to stay if you are there for the U of I hospitals and clinics. The staff makes it easy for anybody who has to be at the hospital. The shuttle driver was amazing. He made sure that I made it to River Landing and came back to pick me up I could make my appointment at the U. I don't think that is a typical drop-off. My car did not start and after a series of issues with getting it dealt with, the hotel let me stay in the lobby til it was all taken care of. They were very generous and helpful. Oh, and Jethro's next door is a nice addition.

Breakfast was good and space for it was ample. I expected biscuits and gravy but was satisfied with waffles and sausage and thankful for the juice and that other choices were available. The bathroom was clean and the shower is bright and spacious.

Spacious, clean rooms with friendly staff. Within walking distance of several restaurants. Located within short driving distance of important locations in Corallville and Iowa City such as UIowa campus, University Hospital, VA Hospital. Hotel provides a shuttle to the VA with many run times.

Was a busy checkin time but smooth and quick. Room door does not slam shut like most places so luggage was a breeze. breakfast eggs sausage waffles yogurt etc until 10am! Everything in room cozy, clean and worked well including TV remote, channels. I couldn't resist booking a second night to rest after circling the USA 7,000 miles on a motorcycle!
